2007 Retreat Recap
The theme for the 2007 Independent Living Youth Retreat was “Our Lives, Our Stories, Our Futures.” Youth from around the state came to Penn State Mont Alto to live on a college campus for a week and participate in fun activities and classroom sessions. Classroom sessions were facilitated by youth and staff and explored youth’s lives, stories, and future plans. Youth and staff also participated in activity sessions throughout the week; everything from hip hop dance, to DJ, to theatre and how to make jewelry.
